Creative Ventures in Entertainment and Art
Kinetic Eye was an idea birthed back in 1992 for publishing my own poetry, art, and music along with that of friends and acquaintances.
As my career in marketing and television took off; the dream of a publishing empire died down. I still kept active in both the creation of art and music; and also became a supporter of arts and cultural endeavors on a local level.
A few years back, with the assistance of friends and students at Wartburg College and the University of Northern Iowa, I launched an arts and entertainment website which for a short time it had a companion print edition. This was called the Cedar Valley Entertainment Authority (CVEA.INFO) and served Northeast Iowa. I folded this venture when I moved to Saint Louis to pursue my Masters in Theological Studies in 2006.
More recently I have felt the need for a place to post interviews, articles, reviews and my own musings on the web. After launching several blogs, I have come back to the fact that I have this wonderful interface which was built for just that reason.
My hope is that a bit of my view on how faith, life, philosophy, history and learning come together through arts and culture will shine through the articles and other content featured here.
