Ramen Recipes
I ate lot’s of ramen in college. A room mate and I would come up with recipes for ramen. Some where good, some not so good. Here’s a few ideas.
Ramen’roni and Cheese
Cook up ramen. Strain noodles. Add cheese sauce, Velveeta, or better yet—some shredded cheddar.
Ramen’uccini Alfredo
Cook up ramen. Strain noodles. Add melted butter, garlic and parmesan.
Ramen’Drop Soup
Cook up ramen. Add flavor to taste. Drop egg white into boiling ramen soup.
Ramen-for-Breakfast
Crunch up the ramen into pieces. Add brown sugar. Pour milk over the top. Eat like you’d eat cereal.
Ram’n’Cheese
Take ramen slate. Place slice of cheddar or American cheese on top. Broil on low until melted. Enjoy.
Ramen and Marinara
Cook up ramen. Strain noodles. Put back into pan and add spaghetti sauce. Serve with mozzarella or parmesan.
Ramen-Vegetable Soup
Cook up ramen. Add frozen vegetables. Add 1/3 of flavor packet. Serve in soup bowl.
That should get you through the next week or so. I’ll see if I can dig up more for a future posting.
